清 青花案缸
Blue and White “An’gang” Brush Pot Qing Dynasty

The vessel is sturdily potted with a thickened, slightly everted rim, rounded body, and short foot, presenting a balanced and dignified form typical of scholar’s desk wares. It is decorated in underglaze blue with a band of ruyi-cloud motifs at the rim and a continuous scroll of lotus-inspired floral patterns (baoxianghua), above stylized lappets. The cobalt blue is deep and saturated, with a slightly purplish tone characteristic of Qing pigments. The glaze is smooth and lustrous, and the porcelain body is well-refined. Unlike larger planters, an’gang were used in the scholar’s studio for brushes or as refined desk ornaments, reflecting literati taste and auspicious symbolism.
此件案缸形制端庄,口沿厚实微敛,腹部鼓起,下承圈足,比例稳重敦厚,为典型文房陈设器。外壁通体以青花装饰,口沿饰回纹与云头纹带,腹部绘缠枝宝相花纹,枝蔓舒展,花叶翻卷,布局疏密有致。下部辅以蕉叶纹一周,层次分明,装饰体系完整严谨。
青花发色沉稳浓艳,蓝中泛紫,具清代中期典型钴料特征;笔意流畅而不失力度,线条含蓄内敛,呈现出较高的绘工水准。釉面温润,胎质细腻坚致,修胎规整。
“案缸”与一般花盆、卷缸不同,其主要功能为置于书案之上,用以放置字画、陈设文房器具,属于文人书斋中的实用与陈设兼具之器。重在与书房空间相协调,而非庭院陈设。
纹饰所用宝相花为传统吉祥纹样,源自佛教装饰体系,象征富贵圆满;云头纹寓意祥瑞升腾,与文房清供语境相结合,体现出清代文人士大夫对于雅致生活与精神世界的追求。
清代中期以后,随着书斋文化的成熟与商品经济发展,此类文房陈设器逐渐趋于规范化与装饰化,既满足实用需求,又强调陈设格调。本器即为这一时期文房器物审美与工艺水平的典型代表,兼具观赏性与文化意涵。
